Arsenal under-21s lost out this evening against AFC Wimbledon as their young players fell short against their League One opponents.
The Gunners starlets failed to deliver, despite having players with top-level experience in the XI such as Sokratis, William Saliba, and the returning Gabriel Martinelli.
But three second half goals by Wimbledon meant it was not to be for Arsenal, as they continued in the form of the first-team by being defeated in somewhat deflating fashion, with William Saliba seeing red late on, too.

However, there were some positives to take. The return of Martinelli was the obvious one but so was the performance of 18-year-old, Miguel Azeez, who is putting himself further into contention for first-team minutes.
Gunners fans, too, were on Twitter to sing the praises of Azeez, with many believing they may have a star on their hands.
