Liverpool fans are already up in arms as their team takes on West Ham this afternoon after Aaron Cresswell clattered into Jordan Henderson inside the opening ten minutes.
Cresswell went in full throttled into Henderson with what looked like a shocking tackle in real-time. Amazingly, referee Craig Pawson didn’t even give a foul in the first instance. The tackle did, of course, go to VAR, but they also decided there was nothing in it from Cresswell.
However, the opinion of Liverpool fans seems to be a completely different one. Especially so, after Reds fans witnessed Mason Holgate get sent off for Everton for a not too dissimilar challenge earlier in the day.

Twitter was awash with comments from Liverpool fans who couldn’t believe that Pawson didn’t go and look at the tackle on Henderson again.
And with VAR also ruling that Alisson wasn’t impeded for the opening West Ham goal, it’s been a miserable first half an hour for the Reds.
Here, then, is what some Liverpool fans had to say on Twitter about the Aaron Cresswell tackle on Jordan Henderson.
