Aston Villa announced the appointment of Unai Emery yesterday and the former Villarreal man should make Yeremy Pino his very first signing for the club.
Emery did an excellent job in Spain with Villarreal, guiding them to a Europa League title and a Champions League semi-final.
The new Villa boss built an excellent side and one of his most exciting players was the ‘remarkable’ Pino.
Fabrizio Romano spoke about the talented winger over the summer and Villarreal wanted around £42 million for the player.
Of course, Emery was still in charge at the time but it would make a lot of sense if he was to target the 20-year-old in January.

Emery should make Pino his first signing
Pino has enjoyed a real breakthrough couple of years under Emery, putting in some promising displays in La Liga.
The Spanish international performed at a high level during their Champions League run last season. The talented winger also scored six goals and registered four assists in La Liga.
Villa are lacking real quality depth in the wide areas and Pino would certainly provide this, with the ability to play on either flank.
Leon Bailey has started to find his feet after making the switch from Bayer Leverkusen last summer. But Pino would provide Emery with another potent winger to suit his style of football.

The Spaniard is a player that Emery will know exactly how to get the best out of too, after working with him at Villarreal.
The former Arsenal boss will be inheriting a talented Villa squad when he takes over on November 1. But he will undoubtedly be keen to bolster his options, particularly in the wide areas.
With Pino’s recent success under the Spanish boss at Villarreal, it seems to be a move that would make perfect sense for both parties.
