Leeds United are reportedly interested in adding Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings to their squad in the January transfer window.
According to the Daily Mail in its print edition (23 January, Page 65), the Whites are in a battle to land the Premier League ace alongside Aston Villa and West Brom.
The 25-year-old has made just seven senior appearances for Bournemouth this season and would be an impressive addition at Elland Road.
Marcelo Bielsa’s squad is in desperate need of some more senior bodies to cope with the promotion run-in and that is why signing the Premier League ace this month would give them a boost.
Mings is a versatile player that can be used at left-back or centre-back, which would plug a couple of holes at Elland Road.

The Englishman is looking to regain his form after a long-term injury last season and a fresh move could see that happen.
He is a left-footed ace that made a name for himself in the Championship with Ipswich Town as an attack-minded left-back and has decent pace.
Mings would be able to provide senior cover to preferred centre-back pair Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper, while also give Barry Douglas a run for his money in the full-back area.
Leeds’ youngsters have stepped in admirably this campaign to ensure the club are still top of the Championship as it stands, but bringing in more players to help the promotion cause is a no-brainer.
Mings, who earns £23,000-a-week (Spotrac), would be another signing that signals to the rest of division that the Yorkshire giants are going for the top prize this campaign.
