Aston Villa picked up an impressive 3-0 win over Crystal Palace this afternoon after goals from Bertrand Traore, Kortney Hause and Anwar El Ghazi at Villa Park.
The result was even more impressive when considering the fact Villa found themselves down to 10 men early on.
Tyrone Mings saw red in the first half after picking up two yellow cards. Despite protestations at the time, the England international could have no arguments about the decision and Aston Villa looked in trouble of letting their then 1-0 lead slip.
But Villa only galvanised after the sending off with an incredible second-half display doing the business.

Mings himself was clearly very impressed.
He took to Twitter this evening to apologise for putting the result in danger whilst also highlighting his appreciation for his team-mates performance for digging him out of a potential hole.
The manner in which Aston Villa played through the adversity against Palace will not only have pleased Mings but also his manager Dean Smith.
It was a brilliant result for the home side who have moved up to fifth for the time being.
If they can play this well with just ten men, then rival fans should undoubtedly continue to be worried.
