Tyrone Mings has labelled Jacob Ramsey brilliant on Instagram after the midfielder produced a superb performance for Aston Villa in their win over Newcastle on Saturday.
Dean Smith’s men are off the mark for the new campaign. They bounced back from their opening day defeat to beat Newcastle 2-0 at Villa Park.

It was a superb performance from the Villans. Danny Ings scored a stunner, while Anwar El Ghazi doubled the lead from the penalty spot after the break.
A number of players impressed. And Ramsey was certainly one of those to really catch the eye.
The 20-year-old was making only his seventh league start for Villa. He looked bright in possession, made three tackles and made three clearances (Whoscored).

Ramsey certainly seems to have staked a claim for more opportunities over the coming weeks.
And it seems that many of his teammates were impressed by how he got on against the Magpies – including the new captain of the club.
Mings labelled his performance brilliant, while Matty Cash and Ezri Konsa also praised his display against Steve Bruce’s side.
