A number of Arsenal fans have praised Jack Grealish’s display in the Gunners’ defeat on Tuesday night and urged the Emirates Stadium side to consider moving for him in the summer.
Mikel Arteta’s charges travelled to Aston Villa on Tuesday, buoyed by their victories over Manchester City in the FA Cup and Liverpool in the Premier League.
However, Dean Smith’s relegation battlers were in defiant mood as they sought to claw themselves out of the bottom three.

Villa’s opener and eventual winner came in the 27th minute, Trezeguet rifling a first-time finish beyond Emiliano Martinez following a set-piece.
Grealish once again put in a superb performance for his boyhood club, growing more confident as the game went on and ensuring Villa were a threat right until the end.
As things stand, the 24-year-old’s club is out of the relegation zone, level on points with Watford but with a slightly better goal difference.
If Villa fall at the last hurdle, that would surely be the end of Grealish’s time at Villa Park, but even survival could mean his job is done as he moves to bigger things.
And if that’s the case, some Arsenal fans reckon he’d be a great fit for Mikel Arteta’s work in progress:
