Leeds United are back in pre-season training ahead of a new season with a new manager. Marcelo Bielsa’s arrival has helped Leeds fans forget the 2017-18 campaign. A promotion push fell away under Thomas Christiansen and his successor Paul Heckingbottom did little to improve the situation. Now the club has appointed Argentine cult sensation Marcelo Bielsa as their new boss and the appointment has Leeds fans dreaming.
One man who will now finally hope to make his Leeds debut, on his third manager, is Tyler Roberts.
As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds spent an initial £2.5 million for the player. The West Brom youngster was identified as a player to improve the club’s ailing attacking options. After scoring five goals in 17 league games on loan at Walsall the deal was made.
But two weeks after his arrival it was revealed he had a crack in his shinbone and Leeds fans have not yet managed to see him in action.

This summer has seen Leeds linked with plenty of strikers. A deal for Matej Vydra is ongoing whilst mumblings over ex-Hull City talent Abel Hernandez and Carpi striker Jerry Mbakogu.
But with Roberts now back in training the 19-year-old could be like an entirely new signing for Leeds,
Time will tell if he can prove himself at Elland Road.
