Tyler Roberts has lauded Adam Forshaw with a one-word response to the midfielder’s Instagram post following Leeds United’s draw with Brentford on Sunday.

The Whites put their supporters through the mill once again at Elland Road. Marcelo Bielsa’s side went into the game having beaten Crystal Palace with Raphinha scoring a stoppage-time penalty.

Another stoppage-time goal was required against the Bees. This time however, Patrick Bamford’s prod earned Leeds a point after they had gone 2-1 behind during the second-half.

It was a tough afternoon for Leeds. They were not at their best with the home side losing Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips to injury.

But a handful of players still managed to do well. Roberts was lauded by plenty of fans on social media. And both Stuart Dallas and Junior Firpo did a lot of good things before making errors for the Brentford goals.

But Forshaw, once again, did step up. It was perhaps his quietest display since returning to the starting lineup. And yet, he still managed to look a class act.

Certainly, Roberts summed up what a lot of supporters now feel about the 30-year-old, as he replied to Forshaw’s Instagram post…

Forshaw to have huge role to play for Leeds amid Phillips concerns

Leeds fans will now be desperately hoping for good news on Phillips. They face a daunting run of games. And having their talisman in the ranks will clearly be a big boost.

Replacing Phillips has been a problem for Bielsa throughout his tenure. But having Forshaw back will make that task quite a bit easier.

He has been outstanding since his return. And if Leeds are going to get any good results in their coming run, they are likely to only come off the back of a superb Forshaw display.
