Tyler Roberts has been discussing his start to life at Leeds United this week, as it approaches a year since his move to West Yorkshire. Roberts joined in a reported £2.5 million deal from West Brom in January. However, it took him until this season to make his Leeds debut after breaking a bone in his foot.
He has certainly impressed when called upon this season. With Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe out injured earlier in the campaign, Roberts was asked to lead the line. His record of three goals in that period was impressive and the teenager is now a part of the Welsh senior set-up.

Playing with Wales means playing with the likes of Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey.
Bale, like Roberts a pacy attacker, will no doubt be an inspiration to the player.
“It’s a massive learning curve. You have to kind of remember sometimes they are your team-mates. What you expect from them they expect from you. It’s great to learn from them.
“Over the past six months, I’ve been progressing fast with Wales and I’m just grateful for every opportunity.”

Playing and training alongside the likes of the £85 million former Tottenham Hotspur star can only be a good thing for Leeds and Roberts.
The teenager still has plenty to learn and when Patrick Bamford returns to the Leeds first-team from injury his game time at Elland Road is bound to diminish dramatically. It already has now Roofe is fit.
However, if he can keep learning from talents like Bale then he will no doubt pick up good habits to take back to Thorp Arch.
