Clarke Oduor has posted on Instagram after he made a surprise deadline-day switch from Leeds United to Barnsley in the final minutes of the window – prompting reaction from Kalvin Phillips and Tyler Roberts.
Oduor, 20, made his debut for Leeds’ senior team in a 2-1 FA Cup loss to Queens Park Rangers in January – coming on as a substitute for the last three minutes during the defeat. Now, he is off to Yorkshire.
The Leeds youth product also impressed during pre-season and was one of the players that flew out to Australia to take part against Western Sydney and Manchester United – but remained on the bench against United.
The winger – who can also play at full-back – is the third player to swap Leeds for Barnsley. The Whites have also sold Aapo Halme and Mallik Wilks to Oakwell, and Oduor posted on Instagram after completing a move.

Oduor starred for Leeds’ under-23 side last season, as Carlos Corberan took the likes of Pascal Struijk, Ryan Edmondson, Bryce Hosannah and Alfie McCalmont to Professional North Development League success.
Following the confirmation of the news that Oduor had left Elland Road in a surprising last-minute switch, firts-team stars Phillips and Roberts both replied to Oduor’s Instagram post – wishing Oduor well.
