Two Tottenham Hotspur players punished in-front of the whole squad in training today after losing passing exercise

Spirits must be very high in the Tottenham Hotspur camp right now, as the squad prepare for their return to the Champions League.

Antonio Conte’s side are currently unbeaten in the Premier League after six games.

They currently sit third in the table, only a point behind league leaders Arsenal.

Unlike their north London counterparts, Tottenham’s squad is currently getting ready to hear the Champions League anthem once again.

Spurs face Marseille at home tomorrow, and Conte’s side are working hard on the training ground to get ready.

In a video shared by HaytersTV of Tottenham’s pre-match preparations, the squad were having some fun doing a training drill.

The entire squad were involved in a passing exercise, trying to avoid two players in the middle.

Clement Lenglet and Japhet Tanganga were the two players who lost out.

And the two Tottenham defenders were the unlucky players punished with push-ups.

It’s good to see Tottenham’s players happy to have a laugh with each other in between matches.

Lenglet looks like he’s settled into the squad well since joining on loan in the summer.

The Frenchman struggled with a small injury after joining, but made his full debut against Fulham on Saturday.

It’s a great sign that Tanganga is so involved in training after nearly leaving the club this summer.

Tanganga’s future was up in the air, before Conte may a late decision to keep him at the club.

The two Tottenham players are clearly not be fussed about being punished in front of the squad.

However, it’s a great motivator to avoid being on the wrong end of any training drills in the future.
