Tottenham Hotspur attackers Heung-Min Son and Bryan Gil were punished in-front of the entire squad after losing a passing exercise during training.

Antonio Conte is putting his side through their paces after a disappointing defeat at the Emirates on Saturday.

Spurs suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of their bitter rivals Arsenal but have the chance to bounce back immediately against Eintracht Frankfurt tonight. Conte’s men have travelled to Germany to play their third game of the Champions League group stage.

Tottenham have struggled away from home this season, having only won once against a struggling Nottingham Forest side.

Conte will be eager to improve his side’s away form and his players have been preparing for their trip to Frankfurt tonight. 

Son and Gil punished in-front of entire Tottenham squad

In a video on BeanymanSports’ YouTube channel, the Spurs squad were doing some light-training yesterday ahead of their Champions League clash. 

The squad were taking part in a passing exercise, with two players trying to win the ball back in the middle of the circle.

Son and Gil were the two players who lost out as they failed to dispossess their teammates. And the pair were punished by Tottenham coaches with push-ups.

Spurs are in need of a positive result against Frankfurt tonight after losing their last Champions League game against Sporting Lisbon.

Conte will need to address Spurs’ struggles on the road as they’ve now lost their last two away games.

Gil will be eager to get a chance to impress soon, after being ignored by the Italian on Saturday. The Spaniard was the only attacking option on the bench but he was not brought on as Son and Richarlison made way.

After an underwhelming display against Arsenal, Son will be hoping to get back amongst the goals tonight.
