Ange Postecoglou has been preparing his Tottenham Hotspur squad for a clash against Everton on Saturday.

In a video posted on Tottenham’s official YouTube channel, the Aussie boss was spotted watching on as his coaches put his players through their paces at Hotspur Way.

But there appeared to be no sign of Spurs skipper Heung-Min Son or vice-captain Cristian Romero in training yesterday.

All of Tottenham’s first-team regulars were spotted in the video, with the likes of Dejan Kulusevski, Pape Matar Sarr, Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie all among the group.

Postecoglou has had to deal with significant injury problems over the past couple of months.

Indeed, the Aussie boss has lost the likes of Micky van de Ven, Rodrigo Bentancur and James Maddison until the new year.

Now, two of Tottenham’s most important players appear to have missed training yesterday.

The video posted on Tottenham’s YouTube channel shows the Spurs squad being put through various training drills ahead of Saturday’s game.

The majority of Tottenham’s players who started in the 2-0 win at Forest were spotted amongst the group.

Even Brennan Johnson was in training after being forced off with a cut to his forehead at the City Ground on Friday.

But neither Son nor Romero were spotted in the video.

Spurs fans will certainly be hopeful that the duo have been handed a day’s rest from Postecoglou in an attempt to manage their load.

Of course, there is also the possibility that both players were involved but they simply weren’t picked up by the three-minute long training video.

It would be a huge blow for Spurs to lose either Romero or Son at this stage, with both players key to how Postecoglou wants to set up.

Tottenham fans will be eagerly awaiting Postecoglou’s press conference ahead of Saturday’s game.
