Arsenal youngsters Alex Kirk and James Hillson have both posted on Instagram, underlining their delight after signing new contracts at The Emirates – though it is unclear for how long they have signed contracts.
Kirk, 18, has earned a new deal after a string of impressive performances for the club’s Under-18 side – even captaining the youth side in their last two Under-18 matches against Fulham and Leicester City.
He has now broken into the Under-23 side on four occasions – three of which have come this season. He was sent off in a 3-3 Premier League 2 draw against Manchester United after two yellow cards but also played against Liverpool.

Kirk has also played in the EFL Trophy for Arsenal – a 20-minute cameo role for the Gunners in a 2-1 win over League Two side Crawley Town, the same side who beat Premier League Leeds United in The FA Cup recently.
Goalkeeper Hillson, 20, has also nabbed a new deal. Slightly older, Hillson has penned his first Arsenal extension since joining the club from Reading in the summer of 2019. He has only played once in Premier League 2 this term.
Both centre-back Kirk and stopper Hillson have reacted on Instagram to their new contracts, with both clearly delighted that they have extended their spells at Arsenal for the future.
