Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie scored and provided an assist to help his side to the next round of the Champions League. In the first qualifying round, Celtic won 5-2 against FK Sarajevo over two legs.

The Bhoys had a 3-1 lead going into the second leg at Parkhead and saw the game through. Christie opened the scoring and then set up Callum McGregor for the second goal.

Christie has enjoyed a terrific comeback at Celtic as he was on the verge of an exit last season. But he fought for his place and is now one of the first names on the teamsheet.

Last season, the 24-year-old scored 11 goals and provided nine assists for Celtic. This earned him a lengthy contract extension and now he is set for a big year in Glasgow. The Scotland international will be hoping to carry on his form against Nomme Kalju in the next round.

Celtic fans flocked to Twitter to discuss another masterclass from Christie. He dictated the play and was the standout performer, earning the man of the match award. Here are some tweets from excited Bhoys supporters about Christie.
