Some Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to praise Hoops ace Nir Bitton for his goalscoring efforts on Friday night.
The 30-year-old has featured plentifully for Celtic recently, playing the full 90 minutes in the Bhoys’ last two Scottish Premiership games.
And on Friday, Bitton enjoyed yet another confidence boost as he opened the scoring for Israel in their World Cup qualifier against Austria.

The Hoops defensive midfielder scored from a free kick that beat Daniel Bachmann after the ball deflected off the wall.
Austria drew level early in the second half through Marko Arnautovic’s penalty, but Israel went ahead again through Dor Peretz.
However, the hosts quickly restored parity once again, this time through Louis Schaub, and then raced ahead to win 4-2.
Schaub struck again and Marcel Sabitzer rounded off the scoring for Austria.
Despite the defeat, some Celtic fans were pleased with Bitton’s contribution:
Israel, third in Group F and seven points behind second-placed Scotland, are next in action on Monday against the Faroe Islands.
Celtic are then back in action next Saturday when they face St Johnstone in their Scottish League Cup semi-final.
