Turkish report claims Leeds’ Gjanni Alioski’s wanted by Galatasaray
A report from Turkish outlet Fotomac has claimed that Leeds United defender Gjanni Alioski is wanted by Galatasaray.
Alioski’s Elland Road future is currently uncertain. As noted by The Athletic, his contract expires in the summer.

He has however, been a key part of Marcelo Bielsa’s side once again this season. So it is no surprise that the report from The Athletic has claimed that talks are underway over a new deal.
Of course, Alioski may be forgiven for considering his options. He looks to be one of the obvious names to drop out of the team when Bielsa has everyone fit.

And at 28, he may be wary of signing a contract with Leeds if he is not a first choice in any position. So perhaps, a summer exit cannot be ruled out.
According to Fotomac, his departure is not only on the cards, but it has already been agreed. A surprise report has suggested that he is on his way to Galatasaray.
TBR View: Alioski exit possible, but Galatasaray move surely out of the question
If any Leeds player wishes to ruin their relationship with the Whites supporters, joining Galatasaray would be a good way to go about it due to the history between the two clubs.
That is why it is so difficult to imagine that there is anything in the reports that he could join the Turkish side anytime soon.
Alioski has cult-hero status at Leeds. That would simply be gone in an instant if a move did take place.
Right now, the smart money would surely be on Alioski being a Leeds player next season. And even if an exit does end up being on the cards, there is surely no way that Galatasaray will be his next club.
