Tottenham Hotspur’s talented young striker Troy Parrott has certainly been the talk of the town in recent months. The Irishman had a stellar pre-season and recently shone for the Republic of Ireland under-21s.
With Fernando Llorente gone, Tottenham lack striking options and it appears the 17-year-old is in the first-team mix.
But his form has also attracted interest. Several teams across Europe have recently been linked with a move for the Tottenham youngster. As reported by Calciomercato, Juventus are huge fans of the player. They have been scouting him since he impressed for Tottenham on pre-season and the Bianconeri would undoubtedly be a tempting proposition for any young player.
However, he should consider the example of the man he is tipped to emulate before considering an Italian move.

Being a talented young Irish finisher playing for Tottenham, Parrott has swiftly earned comparisons to Robbie Keane.
At just 20-years-old, Keane left the UK for Italian football himself. The Irish legend joined Inter Milan in a deal reported by the BBC to be worth £13 million from Coventry City. In the year 2000, that was a rather large sum of money in the footballing world.
It turned out to be a disaster. Keane played just 14 times for the Nerazzurri after a change in manager saw him become an outcast. He was soon loaned out to Leeds United and went on to forge a significant Premier League career.
At present, there is no sign that Parrott wants the move and rightly so. Moving to Italy at this stage of his career would be an error. The teenager should stay at a stable club like Tottenham for the foreseeable future where he can hopefully develop into a top talent for years to come.
