Troy Parrott is considered an extremely highly-rated talent to come though the Tottenham youth ranks in the last few years and he’s had his first taste of senior action this season.
The 18-year-old striker has played in four first-team matches across all competitions this campaign, but given the circumstances at the club that does seem slightly underwhelming.
Jose Mourinho’s side have been without talisman Harry Kane in attack during 2020, while Heung-Min Son also ended up joining him on the injury table.
That left the North London club with no other recognised centre-forward available in the squad and it seemed a no-brainer that Parrott would get regular chances, but Mourinho opted against that and used make-shift strikers.
Parrott needs to be eyeing a loan move to help speed up his development, especially if Spurs bring in another striker for next season as that will only make his senior chances even slimmer.

The Daily Star reports that Real Madrid has made their frontman Luka Jovic available to both Spurs and Chelsea for the next transfer window.
It is understood that the Premier League teams will be offered the £50million star and both have been eyeing him in the past.
Jovic has had a tough spell during his first year at the Bernabeu, scoring only two goals in 24 matches across all competitions for them.
But the 22-year-old ended up with 27 goals the previous season in Germany for Eintracht Frankfurt and is the type of proven forward that could play an understudy role to Kane.
Spurs are only going to know how good Parrott can be if he plays regularly at first-team level, so letting him drop down to the Championship on loan could be great for him.
