Liverpool and Manchester City are set to lock horns in a huge Premier League clash on Sunday.
Several years ago, Liverpool and Man City contested some of the most epic top-flight title battles in history.
Liverpool twice racked up points tallies in the 90s that would have won them the title most seasons, but Man City were just a bit better.
This season, the Reds are firmly in the driving seat and could go 11 points clear of the Citizens should they triumph at Anfield.
Troy Deeney has now predicted how Liverpool and Man City will fare on Sunday as he admitted to making a “weird” prediction.

Troy Deeney backs Man City to run out 2-1 winners at Liverpool
Deeney, writing on talkSPORT.com, believes Man City will win 2-1 as they will be “better organised” in a game that’s “perfect” for them to bounce back.
Despite “everyone” writing Pep Guardiola’s charges off, Deeney stressed that they’re still a great side with the “best striker in the world” in Erling Haaland.
“I think City are going to be better organised,” Deeney told talkSPORT. “I think this is the perfect game for them. I know that’s a weird thing to say.
“Liverpool just beat Real Madrid, so their fans are expectant. But this is the first time Man City have been underdogs in a game for the betting companies. So everyone is writing them off.
“I think they will be more together, more solid. I can see them nicking it, 2-1.”
Deeney added: “People were telling me today, Arsenal are more favourites to win the league than Man City, and Man City are second.
“I don’t know what’s going on. And they still have the best striker in the world, right? I’m confused.”
Martin Keown also claimed the Liverpool game is “perfect” for Man City to bounce back, though he was more hopeful than optimistic.
