Chelsea face Manchester United on Thursday in a match between two fallen giants in the Premier League.

Once upon a time, this game would have been a title decider between two of the best teams in the country, but now, it’s more of a mid-table clash.

However, due to the history involved and the supposed quality on show, this should still be a cracking game, and one that is hard to call.

Indeed, both United and Chelsea have been so up and down as of late, this game is almost impossible to predict, but, as ever, Troy Deeney has stuck his neck on the line and tried to call this one.

Speaking on his TikTok page, the former Watford striker gave his verdict on how this game will go.

“This could either be the most entertaining game or the most mental game at 0-0, both teams are just so inconsistent, I’m going to go with a 1-1 draw,” Deeney said.

Deeney is right, this could either be the most entertaining game of the season or an absolute snoozefest.

You just never know what you’re going to get from these two teams.

Manchester United can either be all-guns-blazing and exciting as they were against Liverpool a few weeks ago, or they can be a nervous wreck of a team struggling to even put a few passes together as they were against Brentford, and that’s before we even touch on the rollercoaster that has been Chelsea over the past two years.

Chelsea are perhaps the most up and down team in Premier League history, and there’s every chance they could either thrash United here or be on the receiving end of such a beating.
