Wolves are ready for a transfer tussle to sign teenage Braga striker Francisco Trincao in the January transfer window, according to the Sun.
They report that Nuno Santo is hoping to use the influence of superagent Jorge Mendes to win the race for the 19-year-old hitman, who is still waiting for his first league appearance of the season.
The Old Gold will reportedly face competition from Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan for Trincao, who is valued at £13.5m by the Portuguese club.
At just 19, Trincao is still very raw and while Santo will be hoping that he – like Rafa Mir – can one day develop and join the Wolves’ first team, more is needed on an immediate basis.

Raul Jimenez has battled willingly during his maiden season in English football, but Wolves need a more prolific alternative to offer competition for places and another dimension to a side that can often lack cutting edge to go with their pretty passing.
Tammy Abraham was mooted at £18m earlier in the window and while he may still come in on loan, the Englishman would have been a much better option to buy.
Beating two top Italian sides for Trincao would be a coup, but he is still extremely raw and if Wolves are going to continue their investement, it should be on more developed players, such as Abraham.
