Everton legend Trevor Steven has praised Toffees trio Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Michael Keane and Tom Davies for their improvements under Carlo Ancelotti.
Calvert-Lewin has endured his fair share of critics at Goodison Park over the years but he has come on leaps and bounds over the past two seasons.
In 2019-20, the 23-year-old scored 15 goals in 41 games in all competitions, and this season, he has 18 from 29 appearances.

Likewise, Keane and Davies have improved a lot under the tutelage of Ancelotti, one of the best and most illustrious managers in world football.
Steven spoke to Sky Sports about how Everton have made strides on and off the pitch, and is confident Ancelotti can go on to deliver silverware to the People’s Club.
“He is having to grind, it is not perfect,” said Steven. “But the players who had been underperforming their level in recent years are now going above and beyond that.
“Obviously, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has come on leaps and bounds but look at Michael Keane and Tom Davies too.
“He has stuck by Jordan Pickford. You want that from your manager. He is that heavyweight anchor at the centre of the football club.
“It is fantastic to see. He is the perfect man for it. The results are good. If he can win a trophy that would be unbelievable.
“I hope it happens under Carlo because you could not meet a nicer man, but the important thing is that they are in the fight and that is what the Everton fans want.
“Give them that and they will back you. If you can give them a trophy too then you will go in the history books.”
