Former England midfielder, Trevor Sinclair, believes Spurs may have to drop Hugo Lloris after a number of high profile mistakes of late.
The World Cup winning Frenchman, who earns a reported £100k-a-week with Spurs, has been under the microscope of late. A couple of direct errors, as well as a few soft looking goals, have led to criticism of the experienced stopper.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has Joe Hart waiting in reserve if needed, after the former England man signed in the summer. And speaking on Talksport earlier today, Sinclair believes Lloris needs dropping by Mourinho.
“Not for me (world class). I’ve been to a couple of games and his wrists and his hands have been too weak. I think he’s been poor,” Sinclair said.
“For me, I think he’s dwaining on his ability. Whether it’s a bit of form that’s gone and will come back, I don’t know. But if Joe Hart’s training well, I don’t see how he can do any worse.”

Lloris has been a mainstay of the Spurs side for a number of years now. He’s approaching 300 Premier League appearances, and in fairness to him, has rarely had a bad spell with the club.
TBR View: Big call from Sinclair but Lloris is still a quality stopper
Dropping goalkeepers will always be a contentious issue. Sometimes you get stick for biding your time, while other managers get criticised for dropping them too early.
With Lloris, he’s probably got enough credit in the bank to keep his place, at least for now. He’s an experienced pro who knows what is going wrong and what he needs to do.
However, a few more big errors and Jose Mourinho might well heed the advice of Sinclair in the end.
