Ex-England and West Ham midfielder, Trevor Sinclair, has said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp should consider dropping Alisson Becker.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has made a number of uncharacteristic mistakes in recent weeks. Those mistakes have led directly to goals for the opposition, leaving Alisson wide open to criticism.

However, the stopper should have plenty of credit in the bank with Klopp and Liverpool. Alisson has been exceptional since his arrival, helping the Reds to both Champions League and Premier League success.
But speaking on Talksport today, former QPR man Sinclair says Alisson might need to be taken out for his own good.
“I would, I honestly would. The goalkeeper that came in when Alisson was injured was exeptional,” Sinclair said.
“Now if you’re going to keep the dressing room honesty and in training, Alisson almost looks like he doesn’t want it, he looks nervous. If I was playing him I’d say let him have it and go and press the life out of him, cos he doesn’t fancy it at the moment.”

The Reds are in action this weekend in a tough game against Merseyside rivals, Everton. However, it is unlikely Jurgen Klopp will pick such an occasion to rest or leave Alisson out, despite his errors.
TBR View: A bold call from Sinclair and probably a wrong one…for now
Liverpool are not going to simply drop Alisson. He’s too good.
The point from Sinclair about him not being the same and maybe not fancying things is fair enough. But that is a confidence issue, it isn’t anything to do with Alisson’s ability as a goalkeeper.
Behind Ederson, there isn’t a better stopper in the Premier League, maybe even in Europe. Alisson is Liverpool’s number one and will be for some time whilever Jurgen Klopp is in charge.
