Former Manchester City star Trevor Sinclair has backed Pep Guardiola to complete an astonishing swoop for PSG sensation Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
The former winger was on TalkSPORT this morning and was discussing the striking options for Guardiola to consider during the summer.
Sergio Aguero has been City’s main talisman for 10 years but his contract will expire during the summer.
Gabriel Jesus has been filling in for the injured Argentine this season but City will almost certainly add another striker.

Sinclair thinks Guardiola will have a plan up his sleeve when it comes to his summer recruitment drive.
He told TalkSPORT: “I think he’s the obvious one, Erling Haaland. I doubt Manchester City will be interested in Kane, not because he’s not a top-class striker but probably because of his injury problems and his age.
“For me, a player that a lot of people aren’t talking about is Kylian Mbappe. The relationship between Abu Dhabi and Qatar is strained at best.
“He’s in the last six months of his contract and I think if you’re talking about the best strikers in the world at the moment, he comes into every conversation.
“I’ve just got a sneaky feeling Mbappe might be top of City’s list.”
TBR View: Mbappe would surely be a dream for City
When it comes to choosing a new striker, the Citizens need one capable of ending their wait for Champions League glory.
Mbappe would be a truly remarkable piece of business and could transform City into an unstoppable European force.

The 22-year-old has a remarkable goalscoring record at such a young age. In 149 games for PSG, he has found the net on 107 occasions.
Haaland and Kane would also be decent additions but in Mbappe they would arguably be getting the world’s very best.
It promises to be an exciting summer for the City fan base.
