Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold delivered a respectful verdict on a struggling Manchester United side as he prepares to face them at Old Trafford this Sunday.
As per Premier League Productions, via the Daily Mail, Alexander-Arnold remains aware of the threat United can cause despite the chasm between the two sides in the table.
He said: “Traditionally and historically, the Man United-Liverpool game is always massive. It’s one of the biggest games of the season and they’re a top side as well.
“It’s always going to be a big game and a big occasion because both teams want to win it so much.”

TBR’s View – Alexander-Arnold aware of threat United can cause – but should feel confident of victory
Even a born and bred Scouser like Alexander-Arnold isn’t going to rubbish their bitter rivals before they play each other and he will be aware of the threat any United side can cause on their day.
In 2018, Alexander-Arnold was picked out as a weak link by Jose Mourinho and Marcus Rashford – who plays with him for England – terrorised the right back.
But the gap between the two sides now is enormous and Liverpool should have full confidence they can go to Old Trafford and dominate the game.
