Trent Alexander-Arnold continues to cement his status as one of the best right-backs of the modern game at Liverpool.
The 26-year-old came through the ranks and made his name under Jurgen Klopp and has continued his development under Arne Slot this season as the Reds find themselves at the top of the Premier League standings.
Since making his debut in 2016, he’s played with some fantastic players at Anfield as he enjoyed a trophy-laden spell under Klopp.
And the boyhood Scouser delivered interesting responses as he was put in a spot and asked to name his best-ever teammate and toughest-ever opponent.

Trent Alexander-Arnold names Mohamed Salah as his best-ever teammate

Mohamed Salah has cemented his status as an all-time great at Liverpool with his exploits since joining the club from AS Roma for £34m in 2017.
The Egyptian maestro has broken several records during his time at Anfield and is still going strong despite being well into his 30s.
When asked by JD Football, Alexander-Arnold named Salah as his best-ever teammate as he hailed the 32-year-old’s consistency over the years.
When asked to name his toughest-ever opponent, the 26-year-old showed no hesitation in saying Lionel Messi, who he also went on to describe as ‘just the best’.
What does the future hold for Trent Alexander-Arnold?
Alexander-Arnold’s contract runs out at the end of the current season and he has thus far been unable to agree a contract extension at the club.
The 26-year-old is the vice-captain at Anfield and has eventually been tipped to captain the club in the future, so Liverpool will look to retain him at all costs.
However, Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Alexander-Arnold and could accelerate their pursuit of the England international after Dani Carvajal’s ACL injury.
With Virgil van Dijk and Salah’s contracts also running out at the end of the season, the Reds have their work cut out for them in the coming months to sort out new deals for three of their most important players.
