Transfer latest: Zinchenko says goodbye; Arsenal could target Pau Torres

Oleksandr Zinchenko has said goodbye to his Manchester City teammates as he closes in on becoming Arsenal‘s latest signing in this transfer window. The Gunners will pay £32 million to sign the Ukraine international, The Sun reports.

Arsenal may target Pau Torres in the unlikely event that they sell Gabriel Magalhaes this summer. Gabriel is on the radar of a number of clubs. The Gunners do not want to let him go. But they could make a move for the Villarreal star should the Brazilian move on, Fabrizio Romano has told the Here We Go Podcast.

Nottingham Forest may be closing in on one of the deals of the window. Steve Cooper’s side are in talks with Jesse Lingard. And the newly-promoted side have made a substantial offer for the England international, who is a free agent, Sky Sports claims.

Roma are keen on signing Tanguy Ndombele. Tottenham director Fabio Paratici is currently in Italy to discuss potential incomings and outgoings. And while there, he is likely to hold a meeting with Jose Mourinho’s men about a potential loan move for Ndombele, Roma Giallorossa reports.

Ndombele may not be the only player to swap Spurs for Serie A this summer. Tottenham are also in talks with Sampdoria over a loan move for Bryan Gil. The discussions have started up again after Tottenham dropped their demand for a loan fee, Club Doria 46 claims.

Leeds United and Everton have both been given the chance to sign Layvin Kurzawa. The left-back did not make a single league appearance for PSG last season. He is now with a new agent. And there is a good chance that he could move to the Premier League, according to Media Foot.

The Toffees have also been told that they can sign Ross Barkley this summer, along with Aston Villa. Chelsea are hoping to move the attacking midfielder on in this window. And both of his former clubs have been informed of his availability, the Daily Mirror reports.

And finally, Wolves are considering a move for Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke. The Belgian is available ahead of the final year of his contract, The Sun claims.
