Transfer latest: Spurs set to bid for Zaniolo; Leicester eye Leno

To kick off our latest transfer round-up, Tottenham could soon make a fresh bid for Nicolo Zaniolo. Roma rejected a £30 million offer from Antonio Conte’s men for the Italy international. But the two clubs remain in talks, according to Quotidiano Nazionale.

Leicester City are keen on Bernd Leno amid doubts over the future of Kasper Schmeichel. The Dane has agreed personal terms with Nice. And with that, the Foxes could turn to the Arsenal goalkeeper, Get French Football News reports.

Everton are closing in on signing Ruben Vinagre on loan with an option to buy. The Sporting left wing-back has completed his medical and an announcement is imminent, Fabrizio Romano claims.

Another player who could join Everton this summer is Lucas Paquetá. Perhaps surprisingly, the Toffees want the Brazil international, who Lyon want at least £34 million for. Frank Lampard’s men are battling with Arsenal for the 24-year-old, according to Calciomercato.

Transfer latest: Newcastle cool Broja interest; Chelsea very keen on unlikely Kane deal

Newcastle have cooled their interest in Armando Broja due to Chelsea’s demands ahead of a loan deal. The Blues want guarantees that the Albania international will be first-choice. But the Magpies want to use Broja as a back-up to Callum Wilson, The Telegraph reports.

Chelsea would be interested in signing Harry Kane from Tottenham. However, Thomas Tuchel’s men accept that Spurs are more likely to sell the striker to Bayern Munich if he does not sign a new deal, journalist Christian Falk reports.

Leeds United are aware that they will likely break their transfer record with the striker they sign this summer. The Whites are interested in the likes of Charles De Ketelaere, Arnaud Kalimuendo and Martin Terrier, Leeds Live claims.

And finally, West Ham have announced the signing of Gianluca Scamacca. The striker has signed a five-year contract at the London Stadium, the club have confirmed.
