Transfer latest: Raphinha open to Arsenal; Botman close to Newcastle

To kick off our latest transfer round-up, Raphinha is open to leaving Leeds United to join Arsenal this summer as the race for his signature continues to hot up. The Gunners will make an improved offer for the Brazilian after their first bid was rejected, according to David Ornstein.

Leeds may lose Raphinha, but they have some exciting targets in mind. The Whites want Club Bruges and Belgium forward Charles De Ketelaere and are set to make a £26 million bid, the Daily Mail reports.

Sven Botman will join Newcastle United in the coming week. After months of speculation, the Dutchman will undergo a medical in the coming days. Fabrizio Romano has claimed that he is almost a Magpies player in a deal that will be worth an initial £31.9 million.

Tottenham Hotspur have identified Richarlison as their first-choice forward target this summer. Spurs are keen on signing Raphinha from Leeds. However, The Athletic reports that the name at the top of their wishlist is the Everton man.

And it seems that Richarlison is very much interested in moving to North London and joining Spurs. Tottenham and Everton have been in talks over Harry Winks, and there have been discussions about Richarlison. Fabrizio Romano has now suggested that the Brazilian is keen to sign for Spurs.

Porto expect Liverpool to launch a bid for Otavio this coming week. Leeds United have already seen a £26 million offer for the 27-year-old turned down. And they are planning a fresh offer. But the Sunday Mirror (26/6; page 77) reports that the Reds will get within £4 million of the Portuguese side’s £38 million asking price imminently.

Newcastle are one of the Premier League sides keen on signing Tomas Soucek. West Ham are struggling to agree a new contract with the Czech Republic star. And Aston Villa and Everton also want the midfielder, The Sun reports.

And finally, Everton are monitoring Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher following his loan spell at Crystal Palace last season, The Telegraph reports.
