Manchester City fans have been reacting on Twitter to the reports from the last few days that Benjamin Mendy could be sold this summer.

Mendy, a £52m signing for Pep Guardiola back in the 2017 season, has dipped down the pecking order a bit. The Telegraph now claim that Mendy is among the players being considered for sale by City in the summer.

The French defender was the world’s most expensive defender at the time of his move to The Etihad and he has played an important role, although his best times have probably been robbed by injury.

The likes of Zinchenko and Laporte are now ahead of him in the pecking order, while Nathan Ake was also signed in the summer.

City fans, then, have been having their say on Twitter regarding the potential sale of Mendy and it’s safe to say some City supporters are more than open to the Frenchman leaving.
