Jordan Henderson wants to leave Saudi Arabia, and perhaps Arsenal should look at signing him.
The former Liverpool captain has been kicking up a fuss about wanting to leave the middle east over the past week or so, and there’s now been a suggestion that the 33-year-old could be perfect for Arsenal.
Indeed, speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, Dean Jones has been discussing Henderson’s next move, and he says that a source suggested to him that Arsenal would be a good landing spot for him as he’s touted around the Premier League.

Henderson could be perfect for Arsenal
Jones shared a conversation he had about Henderson.
“This Jordan Henderson availability, I honestly don’t think it’s the worst idea in the world for Arsenal to do a loan deal, it’s exactly what they could do with in terms of experience, keeping levels high, keeping the motivation there, I don’t know how plausible it is but it was an idea mentioned to me yesterday by someone because Henderson is being touted around at the moment and Chelsea were linked,” Jones said.
Stroke of genius
As much as Jordan Henderson isn’t a glamorous name these days, we can’t help but think that this move would be genius.
Arsenal need midfield depth, hence the links to Douglas Luiz and Joao Palhinha as of late, and while Henderson isn’t quite at that level, he is a winner.
Henderson has been there and done it all before, and as we all know, he’s an incredible leader on the pitch and in the dressing room.
Winning a league title is as much about character as it is about quality, and a player like Henderson could be a genuine difference-maker for Arsenal.
Maybe, just maybe, this is one to keep half an eye on.
