Tottnham fans praise Levy as chairman reportedly holds talks with Rangnick
Tottenham have reportedly held discussions with former RB Leipzig manager and Director of Football Ralf Rangnick.
According to the Guardian, a conversation has taken place between the German coach and Spurs in recent weeks, though it is unclear as to what roles were discussed. Tottenham are on the hunt for a new manager since the sacking of Jose Mourinho last month.
Rangnick has been out of management since 2019 and currently works as Red Bull’s head of sport and development for their network of clubs. The Atheltic report that Daniel Levy is keen to hire a sporting director, with Spurs not employing such a figure for over five years.
Whilst it is unclear what Tottenham discussed with Rangnick, supporters on social media viewed it as a step in the right direction for the club. Many fans are keen for Spurs to appoint the 62-year-old German as a Director of Football.

Getting him as sporting director is Levy’s best way to get the fans sort of back on his side

Please let this be true!
I'd like him as manager or DoF, but I think it's more important to have him as DoF and sort out the squad.
At some point Levy must acknowledge the recruitment isn't working under him and Hitchen, and Rangnick made Leipzig into a force!
