When 18-year-old Reo Griffiths left Tottenham in the summer, it was considered a disaster for the club. One of their brightest young prodigies, the unexpected departure sent shockwaves through north London.
Instead, he departed for Olympique Lyonnais in Ligue Un, ready to continue his development and looking to build on his promise shown whilst with Tottenham.
Despite that, nine games into his time in France, he is yet to even step onto the pitch in the famous colours of the French club.

It is unclear why Griffiths has not been involved with no information suggesting that he has suffered an injury setback or anything of the like. Instead, his adaptation process to life on the continent appears to be the obstacle.
Some fans in France are already beginning to ask questions regarding why Griffiths has not been involved with the reserves side, let alone the first team.
His exit left a bad taste in the mouth and it is clear that Spurs fans won’t have much empathy for the teenager. However, he will need to break into the team scene or risk stagnation.
