Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison and Liverpool‘s Fabinho are both hoping to start Brazil’s opening World Cup game against Serbia on Thursday.

Both players are world-class on their day.

Richarlison has proved his class in the Premier League and for Brazil in the past, while Fabinho, even though he hasn’t been at his best this season, is among the top defensive midfielders in the world.

Brazil are one of the favourites to win the World Cup in Qatar this year, and they’re training incredibly hard ahead of their opener this week.

However, that hasn’t stopped their players from having a bit of fun behind the scenes.

In a video uploaded by Richarlison on his Instagram Stories, the Tottenham forward can be seen annoying Fabinho in the dining area of Brazil’s team hotel.

The Liverpool man is seen having a conversation with two of his teammates at the table when Richarlison shows up behind him and slaps him on the back of his head.

Fabinho turns around in surprise and the Tottenham star can be seen laughing and walking away from the scene.

Richarlison has always been a joker in the dressing room, and he’s a fantastic character to have in the squad.

The Tottenham man has had his injury struggles this season, but he’s fit now. He could be a real star for Brazil at the World Cup in the next six weeks, and alongside the likes of Neymar and Vinicius Jr, he forms a really deadly attack.

As for Fabinho, it will be interesting to see if he gets the nod. Casemiro and Bruno Guimaraes have both been excellent at club level, and we expect them to start against Serbia on Thursday.

However, the Liverpool man is an excellent option to bring off the bench to see out a game.
