Tottenham Hotspur youngster Albert Rachi has dropped a major hint over his future. Amid links with a move to Rangers, he has ‘liked’ several posts by the Gers’ official Instagram account, as relayed by The Daily Record.
Rachi has recently been linked with a Rangers switch. According to The Evening Times, Rangers are eyeing a move to bring Rachi to Ibrox ahead of next season. Improving the youth options is a priority for Rangers and Rachi is one of many who will be targeted.
And given his recent activity on social media, this transfer rumour has legs. Speculation will now gather pace after Rachi liked a handful of Rangers posts on Instagram.
Rachi is a promising young talent who joined Tottenham from Valencia back in 2017. The 15-year-old plays in midfield for Spurs’ youth sides. The Albania U17 starlet would join fellow countryman Eros Grezda if he completes a move to Ibrox.
Scotland switch becoming a growing trend

This summer has seen several young players swap the English league for a move to Scotland. Perhaps buoyed by the success stories of Moussa Dembele, Olivier Ntcham, Glen Kamara, Ryan Kent and others, this is becoming a growing trend.
Rangers have already beaten English clubs to Joe Aribo and George Edmundson this summer, as well as snapping Sheyi Ojo up on loan. Meanwhile, Celtic won the race for ex-Bolton starlet Luca Connell.
Rachi might be looking at this as an ideal career path. He would be joining an exciting project at Rangers, although it will probably take a few years before he is first-team ready.
