Fulham look destined for relegation with 13 points separating them from safety and just seven games left to play.
As a result, they could lose some of their star players in the summer transfer window, including Tottenham Hotspur target Ryan Sessegnon.
According to The Mirror, Spurs are lining up a £50m move for Sessegnon, who is rated as one of the best young talents in England.
Operating anywhere down the left flank, Sessegnon has now had a season in the Premier League, which will be a good learning curve for the youngster.
With two goals and five assists in his debut campaign in the top flight, Sessegnon has shown that he can compete and get better.
And moving to Tottenham would be the most sensible next step in the 18-year-old’s career as he considers his options.
Sessegnon can operate at left-back or left-wing-back and he would have a strong chance of replacing Danny Rose and Ben Davies sooner rather than later.
The teenage starlet could also push for appearances as a winger with Mauricio Pochettino keen to rotate his attacking options.
Another advantage for the England under-21 ace is Tottenham’s policy of promoting youth players.
The likes of Dele Alli, Juan Foyth, Harry Winks, Kyle Walker-Peters and Oliver Skipp have all enjoyed runs in the first-team so Sessegnon could follow in their footsteps.
Sessegnon will have numerous options this summer but Tottenham would make the most sense.
