Tottenham want to sign £18m player as they think he’s perfect for Ange Postecoglou

Tottenham Hotspur have work to do in the summer transfer window.

Spurs have shown plenty of potential this season, but their lack of squad depth and lack of quality has really cost them when it matters.

Tottenham need to add to this squad, and one player who could be targeted is Pedro Neto.

The £18m man has been named as a potential target for Spurs heading into the summer, and according to Fabrizio Romano speaking on The Debrief, Tottenham do indeed have a strong interest in Neto as they believe he could be perfect for Ange Postecoglou’s style of play.

Romano spoke about the winger.

“For Arsenal I am sure they like Pedro Neto, they already had Pedro Neto in their list two years ago. This is how Arsenal work, if they have a player on their list they keep following him even if they couldn’t make it happen. Tottenham believe, someone at the club believe that they need a new winger in the summer. Pedro Neto could be a fantastic solution, and they also believe that he could be a good player for the ideal football wanted by Ange Postecoglou,” Romano said.

Spurs aren’t wrong for thinking Neto could be perfect for Postecoglou.

The Portuguese attacker has so much to offer in the attack, and his pace makes him an ideal player for an Ange Postecoglou side.

However, as Romano says, Spurs will face plenty of competition for the winger this summer. Arsenal are said to be keen, and it would be a shock if they’re the only other team in for the Wolves winger after his fantastic season so far.

Neto is ready for a big move this summer, and he could well end up in north London come the end of the season.
