It’s the biggest test yet for Antonio Conte in the Premier League this weekend as his Tottenham side take on title hopefuls Liverpool, pending Covid-19 clearance and testing.
Conte has enjoyed a good start as Spurs manager since taking over from Nuno Espirito-Santo. The Italian has had to contend with a few injuries, while the pandemic has ravaged his side in the last few weeks. However, as things stand, Tottenham will be playing Liverpool and their brilliant striker, Mo Salah, this weekend.

Salah has already broken the 20 goal barrier this season. He is on course to break his own Premier League record, and he scored once again against Newcastle this week. And Conte, speaking in his press conference today, was full of praise for the Liverpool star.
“I think he’s one of the best players in the world. During the game, we have seen he scores or makes assists. He’s a very decisive player. During games, every time he has the ball he’s a danger.
“He improved a lot, I remember him when he played in Italy. Now he’s improved in an incredible way. Now I think he’s one of the best players in the world and in every game he’s very decisive,” Conte told the press. (Football.London)
Interestingly, and worryingly for Spurs, Salah has scored more than Tottenham have as a team. The North London side have hit just 16 goals all season. Liverpool, on the other hand, have smashed in 48 PL goals.
TBR’s View: Conte Right To Be Wary Of Brilliant Salah
Salah can win games on his own and he could do the very same when Liverpool come to Tottenham this weekend.
At the moment, he is simply that good. His talent, speed, and finishing is at a level that, in all honesty, no other player in this league can match at the moment.
Tottenham have done well under Conte. But Liverpool and Salah are a completely different animal.
