Tottenham striker Troy Parrott might be awaiting his first senior appearance for the club but he’s certainly making waves on the international stage.
Last night the striker played his second game for the Republic of Ireland under-21 outfit, scoring twice in a 3-1 win over Sweden.
He didn’t even start the contest last night and was thrust into action from the substitutes bench in the second half.

Tottenham fans have been raving about the 17-year-old for months now, with the striker viewed as the back-up striker should Harry Kane get injured.
There could be some more work to do just yet in the under-23 ranks for Parrott; nonetheless, however, he looks like being a star of the future.
The lively talisman scored on his debut for the Ireland under-21s in a 1-0 win over Albania but was perhaps cruelly placed on the bench against Sweden.
More goals such as the ones scored last night will leave Mauricio Pochettino with some serious thinking to do for the future.

His second was a delightful goal that showcased his superb finishing qualities.
With a hectic schedule on the horizon between now and the next international break in October, Parrott’s chance at Tottenham could be nearing ever closer.
