Fabio Paratici has been a magnificent servant to Tottenham since arriving as Director of Football back in June 2021.
The Italian may have officially cut ties with Spurs since then after receiving a global ban from football, but Ange Postecoglou recently confirmed that the transfer guru is still involved in matters at Tottenham.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, the Australian said: “Obviously I know Fabio and every now and then we’ll exchange messages or calls. He’s a smart guy and you can see that he’s got a great eye for talent.”
Impressively, the 51-year-old helped to bring the likes of Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski, Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie to N17 – all of whom are currently vital players.
Now, there is a player Fabio Paratici has wanted at Tottenham since 2022 who is available for a bargain fee this summer…
Tottenham can sign long-term target for just £13m
Well, it seems like Paratici has been pushing for Spurs to sign Samuel Iling-Junior from Juventus for some time now.
It was Tuttosport who claimed back in November 2022 that Tottenham wanted to sign the England U21 international.
Incidentally, Paratici actually had a hand in signing Iling-Junior for Juventus from Chelsea back in 2020 while working in Turin.
Now – according to Sportslens – Tottenham can sign the forward for just £13m this summer.

It is said that Iling-Junior is expected to leave Juventus as the Italian giants undergo a clear out.
Despite his obvious talent, the Juventus No.17 is clearly viewed as a saleable asset, given the fact he has made just two starts in Serie A so far this season.
That represents a very intriguing market opportunity for Tottenham, given the amount of time Spurs have monitored the 20-year-old from Islington.
Huge Samuel Iling-Junior discount
Interestingly, Tottenham could sign Iling-Junior for much less than has previously been reported.

A story from Italian news outlet Tutto Juve previously claimed that Juventus valued the Londoner – who has been compared to Bayern Munich No.19 Alphonso Davies – at €30m (£26m).
Therefore, Tottenham are now staring a 50% discount in the face if Iling-Junior really is available for just £13m this summer.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as we believe the chances of Spurs pulling this deal off are high.
