Tottenham tease Arsenal player in video on Instagram

Tottenham laid down a statement ahead of the 21-22 campaign with a 1-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday. Even without talisman Harry Kane, Spurs – under Nuno Espirito Santo – won the game. Tottenham have teased Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin, with a video of Dele Alli on Instagram.

The only goal of the game came through Son Heung-min in the final stages of the match. It came after both sides hitting the woodwork – Alexandre Lacazette for Arsenal and Dele Alli for Spurs. Eventually, South Korea skipper Son found the back of the net, as Spurs went on to win 1-0.

For Tottenham fans, it was a brilliant win. Not only did supporters continue to return to the Tottenham stadium, but they got to see a new-look Tottenham. An attack-minded Tottenham, one that want to play on the counter and get players forward. Dele was the heartbeat of the new side.

He was everywhere in attack. Playing behind Son in a 4-2-3-1 system with Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn either side of him, all four interchanged in a fluid, attacking system under Nuno. Dele would appear out wide, Lucas could come inside, Bergwijn up front and Son drops in. It was exciting.

Dele has enjoyed a brilliant pre-season and has been working hard with Kyle Walker-Peters before pre-season even started. He looks fitter, sharper and stronger. His brilliant technical ability has not been lost, though – nutmegging Bellerin in the first half during the 1-0 win.
