Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the race to sign Olympique Lyonnais playmaker Nabil Fekir.
According to Calciomercato, Mauricio Pochettino is ready to throw his hat into the mix for the Frenchman, who is undoubtedly one of the best players in Ligue 1.

Fekir is known by many as the player who has been reportedly coveted by Liverpool, with the Reds having come within a whisker of signing him last summer.
Fekir remained with Lyon and started the season well, before dropping off in recent months.
The World Cup winner has done well in the Champions League but has left a lot to be desired with his domestic performances.
Last Friday, he was substituted off by Bruno Genesio at half time against Reims after a terrible display.
An admission of defeat over Eriksen?
Tottenham targeting Fekir would suggest that they are preparing for life after Christian Eriksen.
The Dane hasn’t signed a new deal with the club.
AS have reported that Eriksen is ‘unlikely’ to sign a new deal, with the Lilywhites and that Real Madrid will come calling in the summer.

Were Spurs to sign Fekir, then it would surely only accelerate Eriksen’s exit from the club.
Fekir is a similar player to the Tottenham number 23 so Spurs won’t have need for both.
Although not quite as good a passer, Fekir is more mobile and arguably a more dangerous dribbler than Eriksen.
