Tottenham are reportedly one of several clubs to closely monitor Brentford attacker Said Benrahma recently.

According to TEAMtalk, Spurs have been eying the 23-year-old Championship star that has been in dazzling form this season.

It is understood Arsenal, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have also all shown an interest in the Algeria international.

The report details that Brentford have set a £30million asking price on his head and that it’s not deterred potential suitors.

Benrahma is a winger that is extremely pleasing on the eye with his close control and dribbling qualities that can see him torment defences.

The wide man has made 39 appearances across all competitions this season for Brentford, scoring 10 goals and supplying 14 assists in return.

Benrahma has starred in the Championship with his attacking qualities, but whether he could have the same impact in the top flight remains to be seen.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino would be taking a major gamble if he invests a near-£30million price in the Brentford trickster and there is no guarantee he could perform in the Premier League.

But on the flip side if he can settle well for the North London club he could inject some extra quality in the final third and Pochettino could definitely help oversee his development.

Benrahma has an eye for goal and is extremely skilful, but he would have to sharpen up his decision making to be a £30million player.
