Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Brentford striker, Marcus Forss, with Spurs and Dortmund credited by Eurosport with an interest in the Finnish star.
Forss, 21, has been making waves with the Bees this season since returning from a productive loan spell with AFC Wimbledon, where he scored 11 goals in 17 appearances. Indeed, he already has seven this term under Thomas Frank.

Tottenham, it seems, are impressed with the Finland striker and could well make a move for the forward if Jose Mourinho fancies Forss as someone to improve his squad for next season.
And if Spurs do land Forss, they’d be getting a player with potential and intelligence, according to current Brentford coach, Kevin O’Connor.
“He can hold the ball up, he can spin, he’s strong and when he gets half a chance, I expect him to score. He’s clever; he aims for the defender’s legs. He shifts the ball, waits for them to shift their legs and then always shoots in between their legs so the ‘keepers can’t even react. He’s a very intelligent striker in his finishing,” O’Connor previously told Sky Sports.
“He’s an interesting character; he is quite shy and he is quite reserved. But he’s very determined and, at times, single-minded, which I think is a good thing for a striker.”

Forss, it seems, is the latest in a long line of Brentford players who could make the step into the Premier League. Ollie Watkins, Said Benrahma, and Neal Maupay, have all left the Bees for big money in recent years.

You can’t blame Spurs here for taking a look down the road and keeping their eyes on Brentford’s talent. Given the amount of players who have gone on to do well after leaving, it’s unsurprising.
Forss is another who just looks on the same track of those before him. Jose Mourinho is not daft and if Forss continues his upward trend, Spurs could well bag themselves a relative bargain come the summer.
