QPR attacker Eberechi Eze has been lighting up the Championship this season with his performances and matching him with Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino could be a deadly combination.
According to the Evening Standard in September, Spurs are one of several clubs to scout the 20-year-old this season and he’s appeared on the radar of Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Crystal Palace also.
The North London club should now ramp up interest in him to try secure a January deal.
According to the Daily Mail in its print edition (11 January 2019, page 85), Palace and Brighton are currently keen on landing the QPR sensaiton.
It is understood that the Championship side value him at £10million and he’s a key player within their side this season.
Spurs should blow rivals out of the water by coughing up the minimal £10m transfer fee to land him.
The England Under-20 international is a youngster with immense potential and Pochettino has proven he’s the perfect mentor to help players develop.
He’s been directly involved in eight goals in 28 games for QPR this season and he can rip through defences with his stunning dribbling.
His end product should only improve in time and he’s got the versatility to play behind the striker or in wide areas.
Eze appears to ticks a lot of boxes for a potential Pochettino signing and they should take a gamble on the fact he could be a future star under the right tutelage.
