Tottenham are reportedly interested in South American attacker Douglas Costa from Juventus.

According to Calciomercato, Spurs are keen on the Brazil international ahead of the summer transfer window.

The report details that Juventus could reignite interest in Spurs playmaker Christian Eriksen if the Premier League club make an approach for Costa.

Costa is an experienced right-winger that has played for giants Juventus and Bayern Munich, while he made a name for himself in Ukraine with Shakthar Donetsk.

Costa is just on the Spurs radar as it stands, but he could be a real hit if paired with manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The wide man’s form has completely gone this season, but he shown in the past what an attacking threat he can be in Europe’s top competitions.

His pace and attacking qualities would go hand in hand with the philosophy of Pochettino, who could do with some extra quality going forward.

Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela are current Spurs wingers that fall into a similar category, but Costa may just have that extra bit of quality if he was given the chance to work under Pochettino.
