Tottenham Hotspur face Arsenal this weekend in the first North London-derby of the 2019/20 campaign. Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping for similar fortunes to last season when his side pinched four points from their fierce rivals.
Spurs were beaten by Newcastle last weekend and must avoid more dropped points this weekend against the Gunners.
Some early fitness news might have emerged from the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, courtesy of the announcement of France’s squad for their forthcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers – and it isn’t positive.

Tanguy Ndombele hasn’t been named in Didier Deschamps’ squad and that appears to hint that he isn’t likely to be fit for this weekend’s game. The club’s £53.8 million record buy (BBC) played the club’s first two fixtures but was missing last Sunday.
Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko have made the cut from the Tottenham ranks.
It represents a massive blow for Tottenham who are likely to persist with Sissoko and Harry Winks in midfield against a new-look Arsenal team.
The news that the 22-year-old could potentially miss out hasn’t been met too enthusiastically by the club’s supporters who are now fearing the worst ahead of this weekend’s game.
